Great stuff Cara. The second design is really growing on me seeing now, seeing it flying.
To be honest, for the style of your IP, I wouldn't overdo the anatomy. What will be more effective is to find areas where we accentuate it and other areas where we keep it a lot more subtle, kind of like on your very first drawing.
For the next step of iterations, we can try different designs for the legs, hands, feet, etc. I would gather some more specific references, either animals or references of creatures/animals in the style you're creating so that we can test them out.
Thanks Jarrard! The second one is growing on me as well. After seeing the first one in different poses, it's starting to feel more generic than the second in my opinion, but yeah I'll keep exploring and iterating them both. :)
